Cigarette lighter

help required, can any one advise me how to remove the cigarette lighter holder? I have everything else pushed out from behind but no joy with this whis it is the last item I need to get out.
I can get my hands in from behind the gear selector hole an feel the back of the holder but it will not pop out.

I had this problem too... As usual @Southernboy had the answer:

From the front insert a flathead precision screwdriver into the cig lighter and lever the screwdriver in the two holes, to slightly deform the metal, bringing it in towards the centre. It should be easier to remove now, with a bit of wiggling.

Here is a picture of a cig lighter, with the slight 'deformation' on the left side (as pictured) of the small rectangle hole, to give you a good idea. Also, it can easily be bent back in place.
