Actually in Nefyn. My, that took a while.
Model of Z
2.2i Sport
For the third year in a row my pretty little Z3 passed its MOT. Hurrah and harrumble, indeed. Not important, I know, but thought I'd share it. One advisory for deteriorated front brake hoses, good excuse for some shiny braided hoses soon, then. And that will probably mean a good opportunity to smarten up the calipers. Hmmm, what colour? Decisions decisions.

My Mercs going in this morning.

You may not know but here where I live you get the car inspected ONCE in its lifetime unless the registration runs out. I know it is crazy because a lot of vehicle are out there that are unsafe but geez, there is no pressure to get things sorted out like silly emissions bulldust that you guys have to jump hoops to get through! :)

Ours normally pass the MOT :p
But it's always THE WAIT that's nerve racking :)
It's a relief when you get THE PASSED papers in your hand :p

I hate the MOT time, my Alfa is now 10 years old and 90k and this year had its first advisory so I consider myself lucky though I do most of the important jobs myself when I get a new car like always replace/overhaul the brakes and get a s/s exhaust ect and if you make sure the tyres are ok your half way there :)

Yes Alan always checks the car over before for the MOT :)
Saves a lot of money in the long run :p
Both our cars are due October :)
Expensive month =))

Same here!! Only time it's inspected is when you buy it or someone else buys it and our registration doesn't stay with the car. JIM

Nearly all the items tested on an M.OT. Are simple common sense, a huge majority of failures could be avoided by checking your own lights, washers and wipers and tyre tread depth. It's frustrating to have to fail items which you could be pulled by the Police for !!

Tony.

Didn't know that, that's for sharing.

As all our cars get older the test becomes a little harder to get through, good thing is though, our cars are re.letuvely easy to sort out :)
