It was around £70 from Amazon.
It’s been ok.
Thanks, my sonew suggested a Bosch
Thanks I have a very good local garage who will see what is around, a Varter has been suggestedJust go to your local motor factor as I did a few years ago and they put my reg no in computer then I got identical Bosch S-4007 battery as the 10 year old battery I’d taken off the car and at the time it was at least 30 to 40 quid cheaper than Halfords & Eurocarparts equivalent battery. When I looked at service history it was even £10 cheaper than previous owner had paid all that long time ago for that same battery.
Thanks for thisVarta, Bosch, Exide and Yuasa are all good. Personally I am using a Bosch on my Jag and Exide on the Z3. Both cars are located in North German and both have been subject to sub zero temps for a few weeks. The Z3 hadn’t benn started for 5 weeks plus and fired up no problem. Go for a good branded battery
Had a Bosch 5008 and now a Varta on my 3.0l. I would also recommend Tanya.co.uk or battery warehouse..either way if buying online search for discount codes first
Thanks for this
