Can you remove the instrument pod cover / cowl without having to remove the whole dash? I'm sure I've read somewhere that it can be done but I may have dreamed it

Thanks Andy, I have had my instruments out a few times, what I meant is the pod that covers the instruments. Mine has the extended leather cover that has shrunk.
The screws holding the cover on are fixed in from the rear end and access is tight. I thought I might have to "Dremel" them out and find another way of refitting it after.

Yes it's possible but quite tricky, it's held by 3 bolts at the back so you need to remove the cluster and then find the bolts the issue you will see is they are facing the engine bay so you will need a small ratchet and lots of patience as you will be working "by feel" maybe there's an easier way to do it with a mirror and a flashlight...

Just picking up on this as mine is loose - seems to have come away and popped up from the instruments
I have the red leather pod which appearrs to be a seperate item?
I guess some plastic part has snapped / given up the ghost
Its this I think
I-panel, top, leather, driver's side
Part Number: 51457035490 V4TL TRAUMROT
(Price £ 1,127.28 )

So its instruments out frst and then with my best gynaecology fingers get to the screws holding it on?

many thanks
