Originally guided at £2,000 - £3,000 which I suspect was reduced once they realised they couldn't operate the roof - this is a low owner low mileage car.

Bit of an odd one but the bidding is already £1,200 above the revised estimate. No V5 and it went through 2 of it's previous 3 owners in October this year but there can't be many 3.0si's available on that mileage.

Decent spec as well with the wood dash (admittedly not to everyone's taste but I like it with a beige interior) and DSP stereo.

Here's the link to tomorrow's auction if anyone fancies a go.

Its cheap for a 3.0 Si but looks as though its not been cared for, probably need a full paint and split rim wheel re furb to make it nice

Agree, it's definitely been neglected and likely owned by someone who has no knowledge of the E85's little foibles - there's loads of condensation on the boot lid and I wouldn't be surprised if the non-functional roof was a relatively easy fix.

That said if someone can bag it for the right price there's plenty of value in a sub 40k 3.0si roadster - I reckon the market value for that in tidy condition would be circa £10k.

3 litre Z3 pretending to be Italian exotica. Two previous E89 Z4s.

Maybe a 'chancer' dealer's price. As noted it needs a hell of a lot of love (and money) to make it worth the low miles premium.
As it stands it's worth around £4k IMO, especially as it's Winter!
It's almost at that already, with fees.

Why is there condensation in the boot?
Surely what we are seeing is cosmetic and can easily be cirrected? The roof? Possible roof motor? Scuffs: careless parking?

Sold for £3,400 (plus fees).
Cheap, yes, for a facelift Si with that mileage, but how cheap in the long run?

Looks like a bit of a gamble, but the mileage and spec explain why the bidding’s climbing. Roof issue and no V5 are a pain, but someone might still get a nice buy if they’re willing to sort it. Curious to see what it goes for!

This thread is about water ingress in the boot :-
