Passenger Airbag Retrofit

Hello all,

My 98 z3 2.8 did not come with a passenger airbag from factory, and I would like to add one (if possible)

What parts do I need?
Is the wiring for it already there?
How tricky is it to get the airbag in?

This never got off the ground really. I found literally nothing on the internet about it, I’ve asked around for people with coding and diagnostics but airbag parameters are off limits.

It’s probably very unlikely to be able to retrofit an airbag. Sorry to say.
