Rear Disc splash guards

Hi Guys
I'm working on replacing the rear suspension and renewing the rear brakes on my 2000 3.0i.
Had a stuck caliper which resulted in a warped disc.....

When sourcing everything I wanted on Autodoc and ebay (having done the front of my 2.8 last yr) I decided new splash guards would be a good idea. But I do not really want to get involved in taking the hubs off cos that means new bearings.

Do I remember somebody posting a guide to replacing the splash guards without removing the hubs ??

Front brake dust shields - can I cut?

Hi all I've found videos on how to cut and fit rear disk covers, but can I also do this on the front brake dust shields?, they are a bit more complicated, thanks..

How To Guide - Replacement of rear brake shields without removing hub and bearings.

Started researching replacement of the rear brake shields without removing the hub and having to replace the bearings, found quite a few references to being able to cut the shield and fit it without having to carry out bearing replacement but nothing found to show how actually to do it. I went to look at a zed that the rear back plates had been cut to fit without removing bearings looks like this .
