Red roof

Hi All,

I have a silver 2002 BMW Z3, with black roof. The roof is in good condition, I actually have a receipt indicating it was only replaced in 2018. BUT....I have part red seats and think a burgundy red roof would look great.

Has anyone any recent recommendations on companies who can do this? And approx. price? I've seen lots of comments (reddit and other places) about a Jack Smith Trimmers in Swansea, but not sure if they're still trading.

On a separate note, my current roof has the interior lining, can this easily be transferred to the new roof? Appreciate that would mean red exterior roof, black interior roof, but perhaps that's normal anyway.

Hi Jack still trading.
Good few satisfied customers on here from him.
Usually few monthswaitt though.

Headlining stays on the frame doesn't get removed.
Red roof even from factory will have black headlining as this was only colour available.

Looks good in red but one I saw done by Jack in red did fade quite a lot in a short time but the car did live outside, you cant do better than a black roof in my opinion. The roof lining is retained when Jack puts a new roof on. I have noticed that the foam inside lining on my inner liner is starting to crumble and come away, that's due to age, mine is a 1999 car and is garaged.

Jack Smith is the name of the company, the guy who runs it is called Ray Pugh (Jack Smith was his father in law, if I remember correctly)
