This morning my window went down but jammed on the way up. I cleaned and greased the sliders a few years ago but now it appears to be tipping forward and jamming.

The window tries to go up but seams to jam on the forward side so that it tips and locks in place. I needed to get to work so quickly pulled the door card and was able to push up on the bottom forward part of the glass and get it to go up. If its not pressed up it tips and jams instantly. I didnt have any time to look at it but at least its up for now and I can fix it later.

Any one have any ideas? If the forward part is lifted it comes up smooth and not sticking in any way.

The rails that the glass slides up and down in. The rear one is bolted to the door. If one or other of the bolts us loose the rail moves and the glass tilts and jams on the way up.

Mine did exactly what you descibed. I'm not big on greasing the rails. Dirt gets stuck into the grease. I prefer to keep them clean.

I believe the first action should be a bit of silicone spray lube on the guide rails. The front ones you can clean as well I guess. I need to keep mine lubricated every 6 months or so to keep them working smoothly. If that doesn’t work then something may be loose or broken.
