Will be attending Sports Cars In The Park at Newby Hall again this year, on Sunday 05 May. The show will be held at Newby Hall and is one the largest and best meets in the area attracting about 1000 sports cars with a fabulous range of exotic cars to admire. There will also be a number of related stalls on the day. Newby Hall was designed by Sir Christopher Wren, with some of Britain's finest Robert Adam interiors. Newby Hall is home to a wonderful collection of Chippendale furniture, Gobelins tapestries and classical statuary. With 25 acres of award winning gardens including one of Europe's largest double herbaceous borders, an enchanting woodland walk and a miniature railway, younger visitors will also enjoy the exciting adventure gardens.

Tickets for displaying cars are £7.00, with each extra occupant costing an additional £7.00. This is cheaper than the usual Newby Hall entrance tickets. Display tickets are only sold in advance. On the day you will only be able to buy standard Newby Hall entrance tickets and park in the public car park. To get your tickets go to
http://www.carsinthepark.org.uk/
and click on ‘Tickets’. Remember to select ‘BMW Car Club GB’ so we can all park together as a group.

Will be meeting up at Morrisons Boroughbridge at 9:30 so we can convoy in together

We'll be going Paul. Add us to the list please.

As we are coming from the South will arrange a Ferrybridge meet then convoy up together to Boroughbridge if OK

Yup, no worries, I'll fit in . . .

I wont use M62 but will come up M1 and usually swing past Leeds to the A1M. Its easy enough to rather hang a right on the M62 to get to Ferrybridge, no worries.

Although . . . are Whetherby Services a decent stop these days instead ? Quite a bit newer than Ferrybridge (although both are fine). Just a thought . . .

But I'll fit in, Ferrybridge is fine . . .

(PS they're snazzy looking tickets they give you arent they!)

Ticket purchased, aiming to be at Morrisons

Happy to meet up at Wetherby and skip Ferrybridge

Went to the classic car show at Newby Hall last year, great venue with loads of car and traders. I might come down from the north this year if the weather is reasonable. Entry is free for oap,s like me, but may by a ticket and join in.

Looking at numbers and the early start planning on just the one meet at Morrisons Boroughbridge to leave there at 9:30

See you inside Newby Hall as coming from 'Up North'.

Hubba-hubba! Good news...

May now be able to convince Herself to also attend this one (she's recovering from an operation). Hopefully good weather - would help the cause!

Looking forward to seeing people there ...

Add me and the good lady (and the wife) , we'll meet up with you all at Boroughbridge . on Sunday. didn't get to any meets last year so be good to catch up. The Zd's past 20 now and just turned 15k, be good to do some miles.
I have walking boots with more miles on them then that
