urgent help - serpentine belt replacement

Hi all im struggling to get to the main serp belt on my M52 Z3. the AC belt is in the way, i couldnt really get the fan off either, i tried the mallet technique but i couldnt do it. Right now im trying to get the belt out from underneath snaking it through the ac belt.

When trying to remove the fan, remember it's a left hand thread.
Sorry if you already knew. ;)
When I did mine [M54] I released the tensioner to remove the ac belt.
 
You will have to remove the air con belt to remove the main one and you need to remove the fan and shroud as well. You need somthing like this:

Thanks for the help, when the time comes around I'll do that. It ended up being an alternator issue =))
The second alternator issue in a month :eek:

I'll buy that tool now so I'm prepared.
