So the DVLA want £399 for a load of Northern Ireland reg numbers which mean absolutely nothing as they are. Yet if you altered the spacing to make them any use and worth anything like the money, it is illegal and you get fined.
Is it only the UK where you pay a premium for reg numbers which can 'read' something, but it is illegal to do so?
