Decided i want the zed lower , personally i think its how bmw should have made the zed.
The rear of a 2.8 prefacelift looks so different when it sits that bit lower almost wider. My last zed was lowered and i couldn't work out why it always in the minds eye had looked different at the rear now i know!
Not everyones cup of tea to be honest but have to say the kit did what it said and although the rides stiffer it hasn't ruined it in fact the words OMG spring to mind!! The difference in the car is astonishing very planted and not harsh at all.
Love the look and feel of the car did always but it now looks closer to how i pictured it if you understand me on that.
Kit came through a new member on here so thanks a lot @Alan Slade great bloke very trusting and accommodating.
Posted prior to payment to help me out so the kit was here for the weekend, many thanks again Alan.

So here she is pre suspension fit...

Looked well but felt removing the gap and improving her handling was the way to go after all its what this car is all about.

So after she looks like this

Arches filled and lowered perfectly top of the tyre still visable but the gap reduced 35mm. Love the look and very happy.

They look so much wider when they are sat flat and it emphasises the wide rear end
Not to low at the front and overall around 5" ground clearence..

Tempted now to fit a stainless exhaust and will get a hardtop when the times right probably next spring when they all get removed and noone can store them seems the best time.
Love this car has brought so much pleasure and getting dirty with the spanners is a pleasure regained....:happy::happy:

Looks really good Ant. I've thought about it but would give me issues with my already very tight fitting wheels so choose to leave alone, for now at least. If I ever drop down to 17s then I'd lower the car.

Lot of block paving where you live!

The fronts and rears have both tucked in slightly i wondered how it would fair as its on the brink but the wheels are only 7.5j but offset is 35. Rears are still spaced 20mm too.
Yeah the roads private just 7 houses so all the road carpark etc was paved as it has no drains so its one big soakaway , works well though.

All my dampers where new previous owner they are Sach sportsline.
The kit was an Apex spring kit i have about 2-3inch left on the rear travel to bumper stop and although early days im happy with the feel hardly any difference to stock just firmer.

Good work. Your car looks good and sits well on the road. :)

Looking good :p
Well done ;)

Great work, looks good

Nice job

Thanks for sharing, everyone seems to swear by the eibachs but they are considerably more than APEX springs.

Tempted to get these for mine now!

looks like a perfect drop!

They where the right money for me and the result has been good for me.
I suppose like everything you get what you pay for but they are warrentied for 2 years against defect to purchaser, doesn't apply to me but is piece of mind for you.
Good luck and hope you get the right result too :)
