Hi everyone,
Had long term issues with intermittent ABS / traction warning lights and newly discovered air con pump leak, leaving 1 inch diameter oily drip on floor.
Are ECU testing the go to company currently recommended for ABS pump module reconditioning, see codes,I have module that was previously on the car in 2016.
What are options regarding very small air con leak,ie leave as is,reconditioning pump, new pump, purchase second hand?
Advise as always greatly appreciated.
Malcolm

Are you sure your ABS/ traction warning lights aren't corroded yaw sensors (under the passenger carpet)?
The green fluid doesn't look like a/c oil to me. It looks more like coolant. Are you sure it isn't dripping from a coolant hose onto the compressor?

If it is a/c oil then your refrigerant should be empty by now, as to get solid drips of oil the refrigerant will be leaking quite severely. It is very unusual for the neoprene seal on the a/c compressor (between the clutch and driveshaft) to leak that badly. All the oil in a car's a/c system is 'dissolved' in the refrigerant, so it circulates with the refrigerant and lubricates as it goes.

Previous owner, who was very knowledgeable did say it was a pump issue, hopefully he’d have investigated Yaw sensors, but I can’t quarantee it.
The green fluid is very oily and doesn’t resemble coolant hence thinking a/c oil.
