alarm

Hi My alarm works perfectly all except the internal sounder some times it beeps sometimes not. Any ideas??

What year zed do you have and which style key - is it the one with separate alarm fob or integrated key?

I probably don't have the answer but it will help those who can!

Hi Gaz its a 1998 2.8 z3. Its the separate key with the brick alarm fob. Also there is a security circular key with it, thanks Derek

Is the circular key for turning off the sounder under the bonnet? Might be worth turning this lock back and forth a few times to make a better contact?

Sorry Derek, I don't but it will likely be on the bulkhead or rear of inner wings I would have thought.

Hi Derek - I have the same problem with mine. If you lock/unlock the doors with the key it will rest it but awhile but I haven't a clue what causes it The siren @t-tony refers to is this one
