Event (autumn) Scottish run 2022 September 17th and 18th

@Stevo7682 have you block booked for meals as i had booked us 2 in for 7.30 fri, 7.30 sat and 7.00 sun. I can cancel if necessary
 
Hi Steve were doing our own thing Friday but would love to eat with u all sat and Sunday if poss?
 
Just a thought for everyone returning home on Monday, there probably won't be many places open for comfort breaks etc. Stock up on supplies on Sunday night.
 
For those coming up from England it's worth noting that Scotland does not have English Sunday opening times so you should be able to fill up at Tesco and get some food for the journey home after the run
 
It might even be worthwhile making as much southernly progress on Sunday.

I'm all right Jack, as I have a 600 mile range, but if I only had 200-250 mile range, I'd be considering my options.

A number of fuel station now have remote pay where you can use card at pump when shop closed ( maybe not in the Highlands though )

The major retailers will shut but petrol stations won't, especially on trunk roads as they have an obligation to stay open as a part of their licence. I worked in fuel retail.
 
Going to be a bit of a nuisance.
As people are a bit scattered about we will cancel the group booking for the Friday night.
Those who are there at dinner time can sort out when you would like to eat .

But I will keep the group booking for the sat and sun .

As an aside I have a 3rd brake light rubber seal and washer bottle pump spare if anyone wants them for cost.
 
Looking forward to seeing everyone again, we will be heading up on Friday night so might not see you till the Saturday morning 😀
 
We are staying tonight at dinnet in deeside near Balmoral. Anyone driving up from Aberdeen area timmorrow? What's your route?
