Oh, Stephen. I’m so very sorry to read this. I hope both Lynne and you are ok health wise.
I’m so very sorry to learn about your furry family member. Being a big cat person, I am gutted to read this. The Furries here will send furry prayers to yours now over the rainbow bridge 💔💔 as will I 💔

Your not wrong Peter the weather has been decent this year in South Ayrshire but life has been a bit of a downpour
But in the end you just need to get on with it as unfortunately time waits for no-one
Stephen.
Sadly true …tempus fugit ..and seem to fugit faster each year!🙈🧐

Thank you Dawn for your kind words.
My condition comes and goes but Lynne's struggle to get around is a daily thing 😕 but still life rumbles on.

As for Ziggy yeah really wasn't ready to be losing him so suddenly his brother Shadow still not quite the same since his passing but he is more cat than Ziggy he was a golden retriever trapped in a cats body 9.6 kg of claws and teeth but a more docile cat you would never meet was always tripping over him as he would follow me about when in the house so definitely that bit quieter without him.

Stephen.
Ziggy, such a handsome, gorgeous boy. I remember you showing me photos of him ages ago. Try to remember all the good times and furry cuddles.

Unfortunately we are not going to make it this year. We both need surgery ( 2 each) and have taken the decision to get it out of the way in 2025 to allow us to recover and have a trouble free 2026. We have also cancelled our motorhome trip to Spain, Morocco and Portugal. One good thing about private treatment is they don't hang about, and Mandys treatment starts on the 25th of August and mine on the 6th of September.
Hopefully see you all in 2026!!!

Thanks Steve. We are both looking forward to it

The restaurant won an award this week I read. We had 4 days in the motorhome up at fort William and drove past it on the way home and it looked pretty busy.
