So I have an after market stereo in my z3. The radio has a setting that says aux 1. I’m wishfully assuming that the last owner installed an aux with the radio. I found an aux cord that goes to rear panel in the back of the center consul (where are the automatic top button is), but it doesn’t look like it’s going to Anything. I was wondering if anyone knows what this cord is and good places to check for an aux cord or an six cord hookup. I’ve attached a photo of the panel. Odd that its a mono 3.5mm plug, one would think it would be stereo if was to be Aux in to the head unit.....Looks a bit DIY too...AFAIK the only mono input to a head unit would be the remote microphone...In fact the silver circle concentric contacts is reminiscent of something Sennheiser et al would do with a condenser mic module... Just a guess...

Edit, have you scouted around under the seats for any bit that might be missing ?... I found a dehydrated chicken wing under my seat, still cant find the rest of the chicken... =))
