Back wheels

Yes, nothing to worry about, unless you have tyre wear issues.

Ok cheers just cost me 300 to change all the front bits bib not want to start on the back cheers

Z3s have a lot of camber as standard, although if it's excessive and your tyres scrub on the inside then you will need to start looking at refreshing the suspension components.

Not to good a pic

Also keep an eye on your tyre wear as it pays to have the tyres turned on the rims so you wear out both sides of the tyre not just ruin the one side. If you don't do excessive mileage that should get you through without spending loads of money.

Tony.

You have made me just check mine.

Looks ok and have done plenty of miles on those tires. ;)

It's just I'm not to impressed with the ride I have had the wishbones and track rods changed but it still dose not feel like I would think it should be I have also changed the rad water pump thermostat and the heater is blowing hot I'm not loosing any water but it has the smell of hot water and I have noticed the engine is that hot you cant touch it and the slam panel is hot I'm not having a lot of luck if would be better if I could find another z owner near me to see if it was the same as mine before I spend anymore money

What is your description of how the car feels when you drive it?

When you drive round town it's not to bad feels a bit stiff then last night I gave it a bit of a blast and at around 80 it's very scary like the front ends all over the place I'm used to faster cars but this makes me very unsure to the safety I put the foot down at one point to overtake some cars and the front end felt like it slid sideways to the right I also had the white van man pushing me at one point and I had to let him pass not good in a bmw getting your ass beat by a van ( I'm not a boy racer ) I have been trying to drive it in different situations to workout what's wrong or if it's normal I'm going to have to try and find another more experienced z owner to ave ago

Try poly bushes in the front lower rear wishbone? I had very similar symptoms when i got mine a few months back as well as extreme juddering at motorway speeds. New wishbones/ball joints, poly bushes and it's sorted.

As for camber, i have lowered mine 35mm and it sits thus...

My front tyres were mismatched too and had varying tread depth which is sacrilege on any type of roadster!

Think i read somewhere on this forum that certain brands of tyre offer less tramlining than others but can't find the thread.

The cars booked in for all round Hancock tyres, brake pads and wheel alignment and balance, tomorrow. So will see

Cheers I have changed the wish bones and track rod ends its better but still not as it should be to me I do have odd tyres on the front may have a look at them
