Boot hinge has lots of play

And is the boot is snagging on the rear scuttle when closing. Anybody else had this?

I'm probably going to replace it, but just wanted to know if it was a common thing.

Anyone? I'm thinking that the new struts have exposed the weakness and play in the hinge.

Hi DBZ, there should not be play as you have probably guessed, they are riveted together so no joy in repairing, quite a few on ebay though

I may try adjusting the mount point first, then buy an eBay one, If no good.
