Video Building a Sub Box for BMW Z3

The build the guy does is the same as Susans on here and the one Roy has done.
I opted to do it with out an upwards facing sub and the result is pretty impressive.

Yes thank you nice vid, brings back all the old ups and downs I had building mine. He built a closed unit of huge gauge which is needed for a closed unit, I went for a ported one which will hopefully give me some fill in bass towards the front rather than loosing it all to the sky when the tops down, this also allowed me to use thinner walls although I did use thick sound proofing felt. I like the sound that it produced and can't wait to get mine wired. His vid is very informative and well presented to the effect that it looks easier than it really is, it will be very helpful to those contemplating this build. Really like his Kicker.
RHA, ROY.

I thought it would bring back memories of your hard work Roy

Get your amp brought Roy and i'll help you get it all in and running.
First drive out with mine all up and running and its well worth all the effort if you like your music ..bass in a zed is a revelation =))

great vid Steve, now funny thing is I was planning one of these but couldn't decide how to go about it, then fate stepped in, I have a very large sub in the loft left there by one of the kids after they left (came across it while putting the decos back in the loft, tucked away behind a drum kit I hadn't seen it before) the sub is far to large as it is but maybe with something built like in the vid it might be possible to make good use of this sub. i may need to change the woofer as this one will be too large.

as soon as mrs littlefeller isn't around or i will get the "hey that's not yours to take apart", surprised she didn't here my WOW when i stumbled upon it.

Funny the things you find in lofts.... i'd have been heard Mrs MK has ears like a hawk at all the wrong moments =))

Absolutely is, me and Grumps had a listen today. The sound is very nice!! I think that Ant could shift some of the boxes which he's built for this.

Tony.
