Actually Dawn,I think that should be Kirkby Lonsdale, across to the Lakes if you are looking at a map.
Never any good at geography, quite right Ken there's also a nice little Cafe (Ex Little chef) on route.

Skipton is a nice scenic route
I go via Bedale, its a lovely route accrossPlenty of time yet, but I've been having a look at the map and decided my preferred route from here would be M1, M18,A1 and either off at Wetherby and across or up to Bedale and across. If any of you Yorks, Notts, Derbys folks are heading that way perhaps we could meet up on route. @Paul Rice etc ?

Update. Ran both routes from start to finish this weekend and stopped in the hotel for the night. No impact from the recent storms, all roads are clear. Ringo 'the Silver Bullet' Renault Twingo needed a run out

A long couple of days in the Twingo mate but needs must. It's a long way to come and not an insignificant amount of money for peeps. That said, two new routes that if they don't make peeps grin from ear to ear they deserve to be driving a Trabant and be fully paid up members of their local knitting club. In light of the current COVID-19 Pandemic we May need to review the Lakes Tour 2020. I'll keep an eye of what the current state of affairs is for a couple of weeks and make a decision from there. Of course peeps can withdraw as they see fit. Any refunds will be payed via the same payment method (PayPal).
As it stands, we are good to go, however, watch this space.

I haven't really got to grips as to why everyone buying up all toilet roll available ( are they going to eat it while in isolation) as I thought this was a cold related virus not a sickness and diarrhoea one .Radio Telecoms answer, Wait, Out.
All is well though mate, we have loo roll
So if stocking up would things like soups and paracetamol ( which you also can't get at mo ) not be better idea than loo roll or am I missing something blatantly obvious
