Car mats that fit!

Hi,

Just purchased a new set of mats for my Z3 - the old drivers mat had a hole in it. Purchased them from an online company who said they would fit!

They weren't the cheapest, but not the dearest ones either.

When I came to fit them the securing holes on the drivers mat were not quite spaced correctly, so I had to amend this a little. Once I sorted this, I found the hold in the plastic inserts were slightly too small for the clips, so couldn't secure them.

On the passanger side it came with holes for clips that don't exist on my Z.

Has anyone out there recently purchased any mats that actually fit properly? If so, who did you purchase them from?

I got a set from Carmats4u. Very happy apart from the fixings are just a little bit out of position. I didn’t actually notice until they had been in for a while.

I bought mats from bmw dealership. That was 15 or so years ago. Still got them. Can't remember what they cost but I do remember that it wasn't too much more than elsewhere.

My carpet has velcro disks and the mats have a pad that matched up with the disk in the carpet. Haven't seen the velcro disks for a while though. Maybe they came loose and missus vacuumed them up. So mats don't have any fixing now but they fit and don't move anyway.

Got mine from Carmats4u as well. They fitted perfectly.

I bought some used ones from a 5 series for ours and they fit very well and are the soft velour ones. The velcro pads are available for dealers or ebay.
