I can see snow as well as fog no wonder its one of Britons most dangerous roads.
Bet its a right blast in the sun with lunch at the pub.

yep still a lot of snow in the fields dont know how cold it was but it was cold, as you got lower the sun shone through then held up by a learner, fair play one hell of a road for a novice to learn the gears and brakes, not so good if you are behind, still i found a bit of straight road let the z run and at least had a mile or so before i got to the end :)

We are just down the road in Buxton after a leisurely drive up from north Warwickshire. We were surprised to see snow at the side of the road and in the fields. The sun came out briefly but it is very murky again now.

And to think it was so nice here that I had the roof down and the air con on

Shame you had poor weather today Phil but still nice to get out. It's been sunny here near Lincoln most of the day, I should've been out in mine.

Tony.

I was out today too, but only got as far as Falmouth and had to put the top back on. Was just wearing a teeshirt and light jumper so it was my own fault, lol.

Had a blast down to Penzance this afternoon, via Penryn, Falmouth, Gweek, and Helston and then back up A30

My friends live in Cury not far from Helston, been out there a few times. You have to pop into The Blue Anchor for a pint of spingo :drinks:

Is Spingo a brand of beer or something completely different? And as happy as I am to hear about your driveabouts I think I need a break from the forum for a bit because I'm getting pretty po'd I can't out in my car like I planned when buying, thus the HT. Sorry for the rant, only about 3 more months of winter to go and the ides of March around the corner which usually means BLIZZARDS AHEAD!! JIM

@oldcarman its a beer they brew themselves and comes in different strengths. A very old and quirky pub that is definitely worth a visit if anyone is ever down that way.
Sounds like my kind of place. I normally prefer Guinness but both my Dad(42 yrs) and my Grandfather both worked for Labatt Brewing I was brought up on beer and my Dad taught me at a young age that there are no bad beers just some are better than others and the best ones are drank with friends and family. So, to this day I haven't met a beer I didn't enjoy especially the one's someone else pays for!! lol JIM

Agree about the beer JIM. I've always said "No such thing as bad beer, just varying grades of good beer";)
