Hi guys

Carrying on from my other thread….

Can anyone recommend a cloning service for the DME (engine ECU)?
There’s a few choices online from £45 to over £200!

Thanks
Martin

This guy was brilliant when I had an EWS problem

Antony Moore is the chaps name at avilec , he kept me updated though-out repairing my DME on my Z3m .
At the time in 2024 it was £360 + vat including delivery for an overhaul.
But mine was £520 in the end as it needed parts , Chips for bank 1 & 2 had failed , to be honest was worth the money as I spent thousands trying to resolve the issue previously .

Did you get sorted? I can do MS41

Hi,

Yes. Sorted.

I found an identical ECU on eBay for £95. The part numbers were identical.

I sent my original ECU (which is very easy to remove) and the donor unit to TDM Ltd in Stoke on Trent.
I dealt with a chap called Ash. The whole process was super quick. They had it turned around and back to me in 3 days which I was very pleased with. Their cloning service was £200 including VAT.
TDM reply to emails quickly and pick up the phone. Communication is and advice was excellent. The ECU is returned via tracked and signed Royal Mail delivery which I approve of.

The replacement ECU has gone in a few weeks ago and I’ve had no repeat issues since.

For anyone else, this is the company:
