where are they chaps?
is there just the 2?

Yep, just the two, as far as I am aware and by the way, you do not have a roof if you do not have a hardtop.

:D

I found a very long cable tye great for travelling down the drain hole and dislodging any dirt which was blocking the holes and stiff enough but flexible and narrow enough to follow the contour of the chanel :D

thanks...but where are they?

I was looking for an answer to this but had the rear of the hood arounf the rear window in mind for some reason no wonder I couldn't find anything. :-??

That article is very interesting Mike it makes you wonder why BMW never made that seal in one piece then you wouldn't have this problem of the bung splitting letting water in. I will check mine next time I am in the garage now.

I know that face lift cars have an extra drain channel at the back.

I noticed this when my soft top was replaced .

cheers peeps will have a look ...im getting water in the boot :-\

will do HT....but when iv felt under there its dry..i think its coming from round the rear screen :-\

If it's leaking from the rear screen, water will surely be entering the cockpit area in front of the boot bulkhead.
My money for water in the boot would be the 3rd brake light gasket.

hmmm ....unless its running from the light and down the boot without touching the cover

What do you mean by "without touching the cover"?
