Few questions if anyone can help

So that's no help then mate. Just wondered. I would try siphoning some fuel out if you need to do it quickly or just carry a can of petrol and hope that you don't run out at a very awkward moment. Sorry I can't help more.

I will not burn the gas just to get rid of it! Better to drain the tank and save the gas and the risk of empty on the road side. Less stress...

You've made a wise decision Dean to keep the car. You knew it had problems when you bought it and have become frustrated by just how much wrong there is. You're doing the right thing though and asking for help! Very few of us have the capacity to solve all these problems by ourselves. I would do the jobs in the order you listed. While you have the seat out for the fuel sender is a good time to review the link and learn the steps involved. Then you can do your seat and the second one will be that much easier. Then tackle the front end problems. Patience will be needed so take your time and get it right the first time and good luck, you're almost there.. JIM
 
I'm lucky if I get 200 miles before my warning light comes on.

I do drive it like I stole it but maybe I should be getting more out of it. Maybe the idle issue also causes high fuel consumption. It does smell a bit petrol like recently when cold etc.

Passanger side done and dusted new arms rear poly bush and drop link but f*** me that's a bi*** of a side no room to get the middle bolt out then it started to spin nightmare but all done now
Next job
Passenger seat bush rear screen and some body work
 
Yea it works needs a wheel aligning now but I'm in desperate need of an rear box if anyone has one need it ASAP
