Gates Radiator Hoses?

I am looking at ordering some radiator hoses for my 1998 2.8 z3

Is Gates an ok brand to go with? or would you recommend something else? or bmw only for rad hoses?

Autodoc seems to suggest that Gates haven't made one of the rad hoses for 20 years

I would stick to a more well known brand like Febi. The construction year is the car construction years it fits ..they won’t be selling 20 year old parts

My 2 cents,
In the US, Gates is a highly reputable brand unless something has changed that I am not aware of.
I always use Gates products when I can pick a brand, my 2.8 and my wife's Honda use Gates belts and hoses without incident.
