Anyone got a spare gearstick knob to sell? The one on my car is shot. The one's listed on eBay are a bit pricey.

If anyone could recommend a less costly, non-BMW replacement, it'd be appreciated.

Its more than you wanted to spend but I've just received a brand new OEM gear knob for my Z3 from Sopers of Lincoln (they give a discount to forum members) for £65. I'm slowly restoring mine back to pretty much original condition so wanted good quality and original looks. If its good enough for BMW then its good enough for me and it looks and feels just great!

Sorry dude, It was 1.30am and I was obviously being more than usual.........

Bargain though that was...Tops good on mine and the leather but the inside has broke away.

Hey at least I now know an M3 knob fits..

Yeah most BMW knobs fit as they all have the same fitting.

Most M3 gearknobs are illuminated too and the wiring will be there in the zed (mine was)

just keep your eyes peeled on ebay as loads come up

mine needs to be repainted which im going to do and ive bought a 5 speed badge fr the top so its more legit
