Got One !

Great looking car, and a fair price for painting too. I agree about a busy place is the one to go to. Speaks for itself IMO.

The monster looks nice!:)

As others have said preparation is most important. If there is any rust at all remaining it will break through quickly. I would talk to your repair man about a zinc rich primer and make sure he has included it for the repair. I suggest you also check the front area of your rear wheel arches for any small blisters that may be developing. This area, due to the flared shape, is prone to stone chipping.

Many thanks, I will give it a good check over & get him to do all the required areas I find all in 1 hit. Also check on Zink rich primer.

I shall also watch for any chips developing in the future & catch them myself before they spread.

I am quite happy and confident to tackle early small areas, I just do not have the equipment and facility for a whole bonnet.

If the guy before had caught it earlier, which must be about 3yrs ago I am sure they would not have developed into the Pringle sized blisters now.

The bonnet is massive akin to a flight deck on a carrier along with pearlised paint. Best get that done by the Pro's!

They have done a friends BMW X4 and he was very impressed by their work. He is in the motor trade so knows good from bad and put me onto them.

Problem is they are so good they are very busy.... Still the weather will be better by then anyway.
