Were some pre facelift Z3s fitted with an additional bulb in the headlight housing?

Realoem seems to back this up but can't figure if this is instead of the bumper sidelights..

I'm pretty sure the angel eye head units I bought had a sidelight in the units as well. Can't for the life of me remember if either of my OEM headlights had them though...

My original lights had a "side" light in them but we're not connected as it had the lights in the front bumper.

The plug farthest right on the actual headlight above the main beam

@hard top do you think these would work as well as the bumper sidelights?
