HELP - windows wont go up! ASAP! guess why!

Just picked up the next project, will fill in details later.

Have a problem

The drivers window was down when I collected it, and it wont go up.

The passenger's window was up when collected, then when started up to drive off the low loader the passenger's side just went down on its own! Now that one wont go up either.

Slightly bad timing as I've nowhere inside to keep it tonight and its raining!

Tape some plastic over them for tonight Andy. Gotta be better than it getting soaked inside. Sounds like a loom fault for a window to drop on its own accord.
 
Well, I changed the fuse (14) no luck, then both buttons, still nothing, then before I gave up for tonight, I got another fuse 30 amp and it worked!

Some electrical gremlins in this car, hazards go off every time you open the door and you can still hear something whirring by the fuse box!

Not a job for tonight!

Might be worth disconnecting battery overnight just in case - presume it's breaker not a re-build.
 
I do hope it is an artic silver 2.8 so i can have the wide mouth front bumper?
