Going down the same route as you, but my fault codes are for central locking (even though everything seems to be working OK). This is what I found, broken cables (2 so far) and looks like someone has been here before. Ordered the replacement loom, just waiting for it to arrive.

Thanks for the link about the repair loom, only problem is that it appears to take a month to be delivered and I really want to get this sorted out more quickly. I did read a thread on here by someone who had repaired his loom using the Econoseal type waterproof connectors - I have some of those but can’t find the thread now, would like to read it again.

Have seen some real bad examples of the loom of doom, have managed to make solder repairs to the broken wires but you have to strip back to find clean copper to make decent solder joints. If they are really bad and good copper is hard to find then replacement loom probably best way to go. I also delete the tie wrap that holds the loom by the hinge so the the repaired loom has more movement around the hinge when the boot is opened and closed.

Does the wiring for the electric roof run through this loom as I've had intermittent issues operating the roof recently ?
I've already replaced both pink relays next to the pump but it hasn't made any difference.

As far as I'm aware the roof wiring isn't included. There is a micro switch on the roof frame which can cause this type of issue though. Also check your brake lights too as that is also a potential problem.

Thanks to a break in the weather, managed to get my repair loom fitted today.
Followed Tony's advice and tied string around all the disconnected connectors before pulling the loom out of boot lid, made reassembly easy.
I was surprised at the number of cores that had been damaged, some well away from the 'bendy' bit of the loom, so worth checking back from both grommets.
Just got finished as the rain arrived, so haven't had a chance to check my fault codes

Well it’s finally stopped raining here in Somerset so set about my boot loom repair this morning.
I settled on rerouting the loom out of the boot lid in the same way I have seen on another repair thread, cut all the wires and used a 9 way sealed connector to remake all the connections. Used a grommet in the boot lid hole, wrapped the wires in loom tape. All back together now, everything works. Praying that this will fix the intermittent alarm fault.
