This arrival has been more anticipated than anything I can remember. Luckily you have the other day of summer left to be able to drive it with the roof down Jim!

You must be thrilled, Jim. Drive safely now.

Good stuff Jim I hope all is good with engine and bodywork. Looking forward to seeing some photos.

Best wishes.

I'm very happy for you Jim. :beer:beer:beer:beer but only after you have been out driving.:)

Just as a welcome to my little Zed, Mother Nature gifted us with a fog so thick I could barely make the car out in my drive, or maybe it was behind the mountain of Guinness cans beside the driveway?? No, it was fog, must have escaped from the boot when I opened it last evening! Took it for a drive, hardtop rattles and leaks, rides like a 55 Chevy, RHD was no problem at all except the car kept wandering onto the other side of the road. Got my money's worth in grins already!! Can't wait for Trinity to get home from Chile so she can go for a ride. JIM

You have to tighten up the fixings every now and again for the hardtop.
Where is it leaking? A-pillars?

Where's the Pictures?

Hi Mike, just air leaks and a bit of water at the car wash. Top comes off this afternoon so I can check out all the seals, but it looks like I need A pillar seals for sure. No surprises though so far. Engine sounds and runs strong in all gears, just gotta settle in and figure out what everything does. Rained pretty hard while I was out last night but no water coming in that we noticed. Fingers crossed! Need a kid to set up the stereo though! JIM

Got to get the Toronto pollution off first. Sat outside there for at least two weeks so pretty grungy.

Hows about before & after shots then, Jim, We shall also need evidence that you have detailed it yourself!!!!:ymdevil:

Hi Mike, can't see that happening very often and in this case paid Sean at F5 detailing to decontaminate and detail the car in Hounslow before it was shipped, then the PO gave it a full polish for me before it went to the shipyard. You probably wouldn't notice much of a difference before and after this week but I could send you a disc with the 153 pics Sean took as he was cleaning the car if you'd like. I'd put them on here but just getting a few posted will tax my abilities as I only have my iPhone to use right now and my granddaughter won't be back from Chile till Thursday. JIM
