Hi Dave, we were very Lucky with the weather. Most of the groups had no rain at all. I think the last group had all the rain LOL.
They had to put up the top twice.

We are off to Switzerland today. The weather is not looking too promising here in Epinal at the moment, but I hope it won’t be as bad as it was yesterday travelling through Luxembourg. The rain and traffic were horrendous. A good Chinese put us in better spirits last night.

Jill and me got home around 6.30pm tonight. It's been a great run back with mostly good weather all the way. We came through a rain storm just before we got to Brugge but once we were through it, the sun came out. We spent last night in Dunkirk and caught the Euro Tunnel train at 10.50am this morning.
Why are there never any queues at Euro Tunnel Calais? Three years on the trot we've arrived and more or less got straight on the train.
My newest Zed performed great and returned quite impressive fuel figures and that includes the Limborit run, although to be fair we didn't drive very quickly.
1st tank 37.03ltrs for 286miles returns 35.06mpg ……. from Truro to Folkestone
2nd tank 29.56ltrs for 216miles returns 33.17mpg ……. from Folkestone to Slenaken
3rd tank 43.17ltrs for 278miles returns 28.23mpg …….. most of this tank was the Limborit
4th tank 42.30ltrs for 322miles returns 34.56mpg ……… from Slenaken to Calais
5th tank 34.47ltrs for 243miles returns 32.01mpg ……… Calais to home
