If it's a Torsen diff (as most of them are) it doesn't need specific LSD oil, just a normal one will do. If it's never been changed then it's worth doing just for the sake of it. Make sure you can get the filler plug out before you drain it.
Just because you pay more for a particular oil brand, does that mean it is better?

Probably not…I do buy Heinz Beans though and they are better

Still no need for special diff oil if it's a Torsen type, LSD oil is made for diffs with plate clutches inside, and the Torsens haven't, it's a normal diff with extra bits. This may explain better than I ever could.

I used this. It’s a bugger to fill - if I remember rightly I took out the spare wheel and used the hole the hanger bolt passes through to route a length of pipe down to the filler.
Worth doing the gearbox while you’re at it
If you use a piece of garden hose you can fill the diff. via the n/s/r wheel arch. The same with gearbox, same piece of hose fed down the r/h side of engine.
In both cases remember to remove the filler plug before you drain it.
