M44 bolt ons

i have been thinking about what other BMWs would have direct bolt on parts to the 1.9 Zed, upgrades for the likes of brakes, ARBs etc
anyone have info please, thanks

Do you mean upgraded parts, or OEM? Pretty much any early three series should have compatible parts. You can use realoem to find out which parts or common between BMW models as it has a part number search.

yes Garry, uprated oem from other beemers and also zed family, would be nice to have a list to work off and keep an eye out for oem parts that could improve my cars performance and handling

Dave it's a short list:

E30 Diff = faster acceleration
M3 flywheel = faster acceleration
330 front brakes = better G force reduction
Z3 3.0 sport suspension & roll bars = better rock n roll

And that's about it really, you could go Z3M front suspension, wish bones, lollipop and roll bars, which gives you an increased castor angle for better turn in.

It's a stick on, more TTony's thing , I was interested in the engine really, I think it's an M44B18 not an M44B19, initially thought it was an M42.

It looks like a 16 valve rocker cover to me. Another thing for ///M police to get upset about.

It is 16v Tony, but is either a 1.6 or a 1.8 version non Z3.

The 16v M3 E30 engine is the S14B23 and looks nothing like the above.
