Hi Everyone

New to everything here….i just had our Z3 worked on for a Roadworthy certificate from our trusted mechanic and I asked if there was anything else he could see needed doing first up, his reply was ‘It’s horrible’! imaging the worst my heart sunk that it was a total lemon, but he further explained that it rode horribly (spine injury inducing) and I should consider fixing the suspension, unless I’m happy to drive it like an 18 year old. (?)

My son, the original purchaser, at 24 was very happy with the coilovers the last owner had fitted, but now I don’t know what to do? Do I need to replace back to original suspension or can the existing be adjusted for a better street ride? And how expensive is either option?

Any help and advice from the brains trust here welcome!!

Here is mine, far from a smooth ride, make sure you have applied sufficient denture glue, your hearing aid is jammed in as far as it can go and your glasses are gaffer taped to your head, Then its bags of fun on the tight and twisties... A smooth ride is a perspective.... It doesn't have the pony strengths to pull the skin off a rice pudding, but then, you dont have to slow down for anything other than a solid object.... Tyres play a huge role in drive comfort, unless there are other issues. But the RWC pass suggests there are not other issues. Good news it got its RWC first hit..
