Agreed, Its difficult to keep the car clean when it rains, especially the sides behind the front tires and the rear most area behind the rear tires.

I wouldn't bother too much about keeping it clean @handsomejackuk. You're doing the important bit correctly, by driving it and getting it dirty in the first place. Keep up the good work mate.

To be totally honest, and no insult intended, I think that they look like a sanitary pad slipping out of a very nice pair of ladies knickers.....;)

On my Alfa I got just standard mudflaps and screwed then to the inner arch liner so I could adjust how far they come out and how low they go and they are just sticking out enough to stop the mud but you can only just see them, this way the mud and water cant get behind the mudflap and cause damage also the metal clips don't damage the car either :)

It looks better without them but they protect the sills from getting sandblasted by the road dirt and it would look odd having front ones only.

I know Mike, sorry about the Clarkson impersonation......:)

An ex member on here swore by Halfords universal fitment mud flaps which he trimmed to shape. They looked very good too, one of his good ideas.

Tony.
