I have just recently installed some spax adjustable rear shocks, inside the car the thread is up a lot higher than before is this correct or have I missed something off ?

Completely normal I had the same with my AP coilovers. As long as the nuts are torqued down at the right spec 
Yeah all looks in order mate. Let us know how she feels now.
Different shocks have differing lengths of stud to attach the top mounting. As long as everything is tight and there are no knocks over uneven ground it's fine.

drives well, feels more planted on the road but has also highlighted the poor condition of the rest of the suspension!
