Depending on the race regulations, finding enough Z3 hard tops could be challenging.

They will be fully caged inside meaning the soft top needs removing, so I reckon the hardtop will be for rainy days only .

A race meeting would be a great place for a meet.

The spec sheet on the Z3 is interesting:
  • E36/7 Roadster model (1996 - 2002) Pre-Facelift narrow body (96-99) & Facelift (99-02)

  • ● 1.9L M44B19 Engine - 140 bhp standard output (engines sealed and restricted)

  • ● Control Exhaust System - Z Cars Racing mandatory fitment

  • ● 5 Speed manual transmission - Solid flywheel conversion

  • ● Custom Cages weld-in mandatory fitment MSA approved roll cage

  • ● Weight (race ready) circa 1050kg excluding driver

  • ● SCS Delta control ECU - locked for Z Cars Racing

  • ● GAZ Shocks mandatory fitment race suspension kit

  • ● Powerflex black series polyurethane bush kit - mandatory fitment

  • ● Front brake upgrade - Mandatory fitment discs & pads

  • ● Fibreglass roof skin (optional) - custom for Z Cars Racing

  • ● Team Dynamics 15” Pro Race 1.2 wheels - mandatory fitment

The weight has come down, wonder how much fuel is included in race ready.

See they using Gaz shocks, this is a good thing for us - a U.K. Company making shocks with plenty of test cars and data can only mean more options and better tuned suspension packages.

Solid flywheel - wonder that will do? More durable but less refined?
