Front number plates are totally pointless. They have no. plate recognition in the States that manage with only rear plates, why can't we?

We will never be rid of number plates, not in my life time, it's far too much of a cash cow

Wouldn’t be surprised if they made a come back with the Government admiting last month that the number of untaxed vehicles has tripled since the discs were abolished - revenue loss was put at £107m for the past year!

The front of the car looks so much nicer without the plate. I have a stick on plate and a cut down rear plate. It’s not strictly 100% legal! But nicer to look at and I think that’s what the boys and girls in blue like!!
