dragged the z3 out of winter hibernation today started first turn not bad after nearly 7 months .anyway running lovely but both the traction control light and the abs light are on .they weren't on when it was put to bed so any one any ideas .the battery did go stone flat when I forgot to switch the tender on for a month or so but has recharged fine and seams to be holding charge well. i haven't had chance to have the codes read its out of mot and on a sorn .it will fail the mot on these so could do with sorting it before it goes to test

i am sure one of techy Zedders will be along shortly to help!!

I think when both abs and traction control lights are on it is a wheel speed sensor. You need the codes read to find out which one and then reset.
They will reset themselves if it is a dirty sensor when it is driven for a bit but obviously you can't do this .

Anybody near with an INPA reader to reset for Paul?

It may be out of M.O.T. but you are covered to drive it " directly" to the testing station and directly home afterwards, pass or fail, so long as it's booked in. The chances are that the light will re-set itself on the way to the testing station, either way you don't have much to lose?

Tony.

thanks I can borrow some trade plates Monday ill take it for a spin if it doesn't reset ill pop and see the local independent get the codes read
