3 litre Z3 pretending to be Italian exotica. Two previous E89 Z4s.
The height and length of the body work seem balanced giving the car those beautiful sleek lines. Clearly a lot of effort and work put in, great car, great job.
The Z3 has an almost identical wheelbase and track to the original. The company who designed the body kit did an exceptional job of keeping all dimensions as close to the original as is possible. So I can't take any credit for the look of the finished car, unfortunately. I only had to plonk it on in the right places!

There is a youtube video somewhere with a real california and one like mine parked side by side. It is really difficult to tell them apart if you don't know what to look for.

Found the video! My friend, Mr @jaguartvr informed me that the 'fake' was one of his bodykits, which he exported to the guy in the states. He did say that the guy spent an awful lot of money 'adapting' the bodykit. Which, if my kit when supplied by him was anything to go by, I can understand. Mine was a pile of crap when I bought it. I too had to spend a lot of time and money 'adapting' it to make it useable! I'm not bitter though.

I did also supply that kit to Tom in Florida, he fitted a corvette engine and gearbox and he sold it at auction for $267,000.
It came out of the same mould as yours and was laid up by the same person. He was an absolute delight to deal with. I have only ever had a problem with one customer.

You have never had a problem with this customer, either.
You took my considerable money and I got your poor quality, expensive crap. And you haven't heard from me since.
So don't even think about trying to make out I have been a problem to you.
My car has turned out like it has despite you, not because of you. But because of you, it has cost a great deal more time and money than it should have. I could go into details but I won't because I can't be bothered anymore.
