Event Pre-VanityBMW BBQ and camping. 20-21 July 2019.

Sunday night camping added too :thumbsup:

Emma, you would have impressed me more if you had said the extra car was needed to bring the cake !!

The cake will definitely be in my support vehicle as I wouldn’t want to accidentally squash it on the journey over.

Going to book camping tomorrow, so let the cake designing and planning begin!!!

I also have a special recipe for something just for the adults ;)

Have the Beaulieu entrance ticket, but what are the arrangements for picking up the “in field” rally pass, ie when/where?

Hhmmmmm....cake. It made an exceptional breakfast last year too.

What time is everyone planning to arrive at the campsite? I’ve seen Mac has said he will be there by midday, but what about everyone else?

We said about 3pm on our campsite booking, but if people are arriving earlier we can be there sooner as we are only about 10 mins away

When I arrive I’ll be in a convoy with 5 BMWs including a Z4 and the pals of mine in non zed cars going on other stands who camped with us last year. My sister and brother in law will be there too (with the all important BBQ!) so even if I’m first there, there’ll be 6 vehicles and 10 people from that point. You’d be very welcome whenever you want. We’ll have our obligatory cleaning session to do after our 180 mile drive too.

I would be looking to get there around 12 - 1 get the tent up and go for a beer.
I haven't got any little kids to wash and polish the zed for a tube of Smarties like Mac.

I'm sure if you ask Damian nicely he may wash yours lol, he loves washing cars haha

We're not far away now folks. I may not be checking the forum during the weekend of the event as signal isn't great in the New Forest and I'm intending to be enjoying myself in person rather than online:thumbsup:

For that reason I'll happily share a contact telephone number via PM with anyone who would feel more comfortable having a means to contact me in case of any issues or delays. If that's the case drop me a message and I'll reply with a phone number I can be contacted on.

What time do we leave the campsite for the rendezvous?
Damian may end up going home once everything is packed up to pick up a friend, so we don’t have to leave our support vehicle at the pub during the day. Just need to know what time he would need to leave so he makes it to the pub on time.

We really need to leave by 0800hrs to get to the Bold Forester on time. Although a few of us are camping Sunday night too so you could always leave the 4x4 at the campsite if you wanted.

Is there still cake for breakfast this year?:whistle:
