Problem with roof hydraulics after my pump was relocated e85

Hello! I would really appreciate if anyone can help me :)

Recently my mechanic relocated the hydraulic motor to trunk.

After he relocated it and tested the roof, something started causing the drilling sound for first few seconds and last few seconds of operation.... (see the video)

And in the relocated roof motor pump, where it has oil, there is not a lot of oil in it - I think so. (see the photo)

And since everything was working perfectly before the relocation of the motor I assume that something with hoses that connenct the hydraulic pump with hydraulic hinge could go wrong?

And now I have a leak in the system on these hoses/connectors.

I am curious if you think this is the cause and if you are selling the hoses.

Or could the relocation of the motor cause the hydraulic hinge to start leaking and needs replacement?

Or maybe just need to top up the fluid? But then how did it loose fluid on relocation?

Keep in mind that there is no corrosion on the pump and it was completely dry.

here are 2 videos: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MrgQr7Z9zEl5d5Fk-RSNYHTVaAW2dOvf

Thank you for your answer!

Best regards,
Ziga

Hi l have moved my motor & yours looks a lot better than mine i would not suspect a leak at this time there is only 1/4 to 1/2 full there is a screw on top of oil bottle ( i top mine with halford jack oil )....is the sound coming from the pump or the latch motor above the rear view mirror ?

Hi! I fixed it with topping up the oil in the pump but the sound was comming from the hinge - since it had air inside :)

Now everything is ok
