Quantity of coolant required?

Hi,
I have a 2002 2.2 Z3 that is long overdue a coolant change. Does anyone know how much coolant is required for this engine?

Really? That's nearly 2.5 gallons. Seems a lot.

Presumably that is from dry. Changing coolant will need a lot less IME, unless you can get it completely empty (no idea how you would do that TBH).

Coolant vacuum will totally drain the system and refill it without airlocks, used one to change the coolant on my sons Octavia VRS recently, great bit of kit.
