Just been out in the 4x4, lots of snow on the lanes round here so wouldn't have been able to get the Zed out anyway:(

Anybody want a night in the Premier Inn at Silverstone on Sat night?
 
Silverstone say no refunds if you cancel the Taster days. What happens that Silverstone have cancelled the event due to weather?

I don't know track day policy
With the experiences we booked them in to a new date
I will find out

NOT CONFIRMED but I hear a possible alternative date 2/4/18
 
Had a voice message left on my phone earlier from Silverstone to say it had been called off :(.
So another room up for the taking for Saturday night as I can't alter it or get a refund.
In no way is that a dig at you @BMBabe ;), you must be feeling fed up already. You did a grand job in organising this event but no one could have foreseen the adverse weather.
Already looking forward to the rearranged date, whenever it is :).
 
Guys i am so so so sorry about your accommodation
Some hotels have allowed people to move the date
If we can get out tomorrow maybe we can take a room off someone and pay you the money x
 
So sorry for all you guys and girls, @BMBabe dont blame yourself, it could not be helped, trackdays all over the country are being cancelled. I’ll look out for the new date as I may be free to come along :)

Hey Stacey there's nothing for you to be sorry for. Were not known for been the most sensible people (we spend all our spare cash on an aging sports car) So the decision to cancel was the right one made by people with more sense than us. The fact that we went for the cheaper option with no cancellation plan is down to us. The snow well apparently that's down to some bird called Emma.
If Silverstone don't refund the entry thats down to there policy's right or wrong.
At least we celebrated your Birthday earlier at Silverstone.

I know you had done a lot of arranging Stacey but you couldn't plan for the combination of weather we've had this week. As all the others have said nothing is due to your actions so don't stress. Have a great birthday and keep safe if you venture out though it isn't advised.
 
As Paul has said Stacey, it was our decision to go for the cheaper room option. Please don't beat yourself up about it.

Tomorrow i am going to the The Charter Aylesbury for a late lunch at 2pm
As the snow is clearing and I need to do something on my Birthday
So the Panther and Smurf are coming out
if anyone fancies joining in for a bit of food and maybe a little run out give me a shout

Hi Stacey, I've finally emerged from what almost seems like an interminably long cold the last 10 days. Really sorry this had to be cancelled, but who the heck could have predicted it would be because of snow! Not even you ;)

You've pulled out all the stops for this one, and I know everyone appreciates that fact so nothing to worry about. I'm sure the rescheduled event will be even better :)
 
@GazHyde Your booking is still live for next time so hopefully you can get Sasha ready for the reschduled date :thumbsup:
 
Looks like the new date is Monday 2nd April (Easter Monday)
Could be a bit busy Hotel wise Easter weekend?
Good news is full refunds or Silverstone credits are available.
