They have a wind deflector with them, and only fit at the two outer points. None fitted at the moment so I suppose something is better than nothing!

They're an ad on for looks but would be better than nothing in a roll over because of the attachments. If you go back a bit this was discussed when @ZTec began his quest. Are you thinking of putting them on? JIM

My roll hoops arrived today, first job tomorrow is to fit them.

Hi all, well the hoops and wind deflector are fitted, makes a big difference and I think it looks ok.

Yup, looks good to me. Always thought the Z3 looked unfinished without them! Hopefully your ears wont get as cold now...
