Event Scottish run 22nd / 23rd September 2018

So...did the day 1 recce last weekend and ive never seen the Lecht and Glenshee so busy with skiers etc.
Nipped in past the hotel and ive been in worse, but look what was lurking in the car park.ì

What were the roads like we were at falls of lora at connell a couple of weeks ago and the a82 pretty wrecked in places north of loch lomond.

Worst bit is between Newtonmore and Dalwhinnie, with some pretty treacherous potholes.
If not fixed, we can easily miss this part and take the A9 to give the ladies more shopping time in Bruars!!

These are main routes should be ok by the time we are going signs up here for a weeks worth of overnight closure of the a77 south of maybole for road resurfacing so should get stuff done up there as well as its a big tourism area
 
Hi guys, I still have the day 2 to sort out and run it, but am on with it. However the wedding plans is also taking a lot of mine and Victoria's time so hang in there

Hi everyone,

I'm having a bit of hassle with the Hotel, as they will only accept us as a group booking, so here is the script -

I have to pay the deposits of £25pp in one payment, so can everyone please PM me and i will provide my bank account details for transfer, I will also need your name, address and contact mobile no. for the hotel.

As i am in Canada in late August, I would need the balance payment from everyone no later than Saturday 4th August so I can pay before I leave. (don't worry - I am coming back)

If anyone has not paid me the balance in time, then i shall have to cancel their room and they will lose their deposit.

I'm aware this is a hassle, but the hotel will only honour the group rate if we do this.

Of the attendees, I have 10 confirmations meantime -
@Sully and @BillyB - can you please confirm which 2 nights you are staying - Friday & Saturday??

@John Thompson and @Jakewilson - can you please confirm if attending and if so your room requirements.

Anyone else thinking of attending, please let me know ASAP, as the current hotel rate is over £25/PP above our group rate.

As a reminder, we are £53/pp/dbb with £6/day car parking, so £336 for a couple for all 3 nights.

@Stevo7682 - I will copy all hotel correspondence & payment info. to you as a back up if that's ok?

Hi dave, my apologies mate but I have no choice but to retire from the run, I wish you all happy driving and hope you get good weather as it will make a great drive better.
